Exceptional Grandparents

Times have changed. To be an exceptional grandparent it's important to be familiar with current baby-care issues. This one-time class focuses on infant through toddler-aged children. Information is presented on creating a safe and supportive environment in all aspects of grandparenting, including the new relationship with baby's parents. Class attendees will learn and perform CPR and choking for infants and children (certification will not be provided).

An optional OB Hospital Orientation Tour is offered following the class.

Baby Talk (Dunstan Baby Language and HUG (Hug Your Baby))

This class is a combination class of Dunstan Baby Language and HUG (Hug Your Baby). The Dunstan System teaches you how to understand your baby's unique language by tuning your ear to the five 'words', providing settling solutions, and offering helpful advice. The program includes a take home DVD valued at $39.95.

Hug Your Baby is designed to help parents understand, prevent and solve problems around a baby's eating, sleeping and crying by encouraging parent-child attachment and bonding. This class offers a deeper understanding of techniques to enhance breastfeeding, provide adequate sleep for mom and baby, and increase a parent's ability to calm his/her baby.
