Preparing for Multiple Babies

Double (or more) congratulations on your multiples! We have designed several class just for you. Our multiples classes answer the questions that multiples families often have. We will help you navigate the waters of having more than one baby at once. Register now and meet other parents with whom you can share this adventure!

Multiple Connections

This childbirth class is designed to prepare couples for the birth of multiple babies. We strongly recommend that couples take this class as early as 20-weeks gestation. This class will focus on prenatal testing, proper nutrition, pre-term labor signs and symptoms, stages of labor and delivery, anesthesia choices, Cesarean-section delivery and postpartum issues--all specific to multiples. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and interact with other class participants. This class does not focus on labor and delivery; therefore, we recommend taking a Childbirth Express class in addition to this class for more in-depth information about the labor process.

Breastfeeding Multiples

This class covers all the information in Breastfeeding Preparation but is specific to moms with multiple babies. You will discover how to successfully feed multiples, practice positions and learn about pumping and storing breast milk.This is a great add on to the multiple connections class (above).
