Class for Parents of Babies in the Swedish Medical Center NICU
If your new little one has had to spend time in our Level III NICU, you will certainly have more questions and want extra guidance when you bring your new baby home. We are offering a special class just for Swedish NICU families.
Baby Safe for NICU Families
This class covers important issues such as accident prevention, baby proofing, and recognizing illness. There is a brief overview of car seat safety* specific for families with an infant in the NICU. Additional information on the transition from home to hospital for NICU families is provided. Basic first aid and infant CPR/choking are taught and practiced (no certification is provided).

*Please note that this does not take the place of the free car seat fit station, which is recommended in addition to this course.
