Stroke Support Groups

In addition to expert stroke treatment, Denver, Colorado's Swedish Medical Center hosts stroke support groups through their partnership with the Colorado Neurologic Institute (CNI) for stroke survivors, family members and caregivers.

Long-Term Survivor Stroke Support Group

First Wednesday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

This group is intended for people whose stroke was two or more years ago. Meetings are held as open discussions, providing an opportunity for stroke survivors, family members and caregivers to meet and share with people who have had similar stroke experiences.

Newly Diagnosed Stroke Survivor Support Group

Third Wednesday of every month from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

This group is intended for people whose stroke was less than two years ago. Groups are held as educational meetings with discussion for stroke survivors, family members and caregivers.
