Breastfeeding Preparation

This one-time class is valuable to those who plan to breastfeed their babies. Designed for the breastfeeding woman and her partner, we provide a positive and safe setting to talk about breastfeeding concerns and its impact on the entire family. In addition to a review of the anatomy and physiology of breastfeeding (lactation), the class explores current techniques and preparations that foster successful breastfeeding. This includes learning and practicing different nursing positions, proper collection and storage of breast milk, and the latest information on breast pumps.

Breastfeeding Preparation - Women Only

This class is a special addition to our breastfeeding preparation series that is designed specifically for women only. The curriculum is the same as our breastfeeding preparation class but it addresses the privacy needs of some pregnant women who wish to be in an all-female class.

Breastfeeding Multiples

This class covers specific information on how to successfully breastfeed multiples, practice positions for multiples and learn about pumping and storing breast milk. This is a great add on to the multiple connections class!

Breastfeeding and Working 

This class is designed as a lunch and learn class for mothers who are about to enter back in to the work environment. Designed to be taken several weeks prior to returning to work, this class helps smooth the transition back to work, while maintaining the breastfeeding relationship. Learn tricks of the trade for pumping and storing breast milk, maintaining connection with your baby and time management. Please bring your breast milk pump, if you have one as well as a sack lunch.
